1. Scope of Services
Business Optimization Group (BOG) provides custom IT architecture, cloud migration, cybersecurity audits, and ongoing technical support. Due to the bespoke nature of our B2B services, substantial engineering time is dedicated upfront for scoping, planning, and provisioning infrastructure.
2. Retainer Cancellations
For recurring monthly services (such as Managed IT Support or SIEM monitoring):
- Clients may cancel their engagement with a thirty (30) days written notice.
- No prorated refunds are issued for the current active billing cycle. Service will continue to be administered until the conclusion of the final paid billing cycle.
3. Project-Based Work Refunds
For one-off project deliverables (such as Cloud Migration or initial Cybersecurity Audits):
- Before Project Kick-off: If a cancellation is requested after the signing of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) but before any technical work has commenced, a full refund of any deposit will be issued within 10-14 business days, minus a 10% administrative fee.
- During the Project: If an engagement is canceled mid-flight, BOG will calculate the exact hours of engineering time already expended up to the point of cancellation based on our agreed hourly or milestone rates. If the deposit exceeds this amount, the remainder will be refunded. If the expended work exceeds the deposit, the client will be invoiced for the difference.
- Upon Delivery: Once an implementation milestone is delivered and signed off by the client, the corresponding fee for that milestone is strictly non-refundable.
4. How to Request a Cancellation
All formal cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by an authorized corporate signatory. Please direct these communications to your assigned Account Manager or via email to [email protected] with the subject line "Service Cancellation Request - [Company Name]".
5. Exceptions
In the highly unlikely event that Business Optimization Group fails to meet the core functional requirements explicitly defined in the initial Statement of Work (SOW), and our engineers cannot remediate the issue within the grace period defined in your contract, a full or partial refund for that specific SOW may be authorized at the discretion of upper management.
